The SBGA405 is built on the same platform as the SBGA403 that we showed you back during Baselworld, and both are part of this year’s 20th anniversary of Spring Drive festivities. The key features are the sporty 44.5mm case, which is made of high intensity titanium and has that distinctive shape with the short, faceted lugs, the slim sapphire bezel marked with the 60 minutes, and the 9R15 Spring Drive movement inside, which is tightly regulated to +/- 10 seconds per month. This is Grand Seiko at its high-tech best, making truly 21st-century takes on traditional watches.
