Pre – Owned Watches

We sell pre-owned luxury watches. Therefore our watches should not be construed As New. Our pre-owned watches are all second hand/used in varying conditions ranked out of 10. All are checked by our in-house specialists and do not come with warranty unless the buyer request a full service to be quoted separately before delivery. The watch movement is covered under any outstanding manufacturers warranty however this does not apply to any inappropriate damage caused by mistreatment of your watch. The manufacturers warranty does not cover damage to bracelets, cases, crystals/glasses, or damage arising from use in water. We do not cover accidental damage or loss. We now provide watch valuations that can be used for insurance proposes, please ask for details. Where possible we can adjust any bracelets to fit your wrist before postage. Please kindly let us know your wrist size in centimetres or inches and we will make any appropriate changes including any spare links with your watch. We can also obtain additional links although these may be subject to additional costs. All our watches are fully authenticated by our watch specialists before advertisement and all watches are offered in full working condition.

Buying From The Watch Dealers

Making a purchase could not be easier. Please browse our catalogue, select the item in which you are interested in, add the item to you’re shopping cart and follow the necessary steps. You can also contact us via phone or email. Some items will require approval at checkout in which case you will be informed and one of our team will be in touch as soon as possible. We will provide you with the full cost including delivery and you can choose a suitable payment method to confirm the transaction. Items will be removed from sale for a period of 5 days to allow clients to make payment arrangements. Please ensure you ask any questions regarding the condition, age and extra photographs if required prior to payment.

Selling Your Items Through The Watch Dealers

By submitting your item for sale to or through The Watch Dealers you guarantee that your item is free from finance, theft, and is guaranteed authentic. We reserve the right to have any item checked by experts and reserve the right to return it to you and request full refund should these terms not be met.

CUSTOMS & LOCAL TAXES

If you are based outside Australia, you may have to pay import or other taxes, fees or charges applied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt. While we are not liable for these additional charges and have no control over them, we do encourage clients to research these prior to purchasing items from us. We will make a full value disclosure, where required, on all items sent overseas and this is required to ensure proper insurance cover in sending valuable items. If you are unsure about whether these charges apply, you should contact your local tax or customs office for further information.

RATINGS

We rate the condition of all watches, on a scale out of 10. If we mark an item as 10/10 this means it is in unworn condition complete with all manuals, box, and manufacturers warranty (details of which will be specified in the description).

Payments To The The Watch Dealers

We accept the following payment methods:

PERSONAL CHEQUES

All cheque payments are subject to 10 working days clearance after cheque has been cashed.

BANKERS DRAFTS

All bankers drafts are subject to 14 working days clearance and authentication.

CARD PAYMENTS

We accept all major credit cards although all payments must be conducted using our secure online payments system provided by Sagepay by the cardholder only. We do not accept credit card payments over the phone. Payments may be subject to a holding period under which circumstance notification will be provided. We have a strict 3D secure rule base that means all your address and passwords must match the card being used. If you have any questions regarding this please call us to discuss.

DEBIT CARDS

All debit card payments are free from any additional charge.

CREDIT CARDS

We do not accept international or foreign credit cards via the online checkout. All international or foreign payments must be made either through a verified PayPal account or bank transfer. We can also accept international or foreign credit card payments via chip and pin in store.

CASH ON COLLECTION

Any amounts over $10,000 will need to be supported by two forms of ID and an explanation of where the funds came from (this is to comply with new money laundering laws). Payments in cash may also be deposited directly into our bank account. All payments should be made payable to ‘The Watch Dealers and cheques will have to clear before goods can be dispatched.

INSURANCE

All items are sent fully insured.

COLLECTIONS

Uncollected items not purchased from The Watch Dealers will incur a storage fee if not collected within a reasonable time, and if payment for services conducted has not been made.

DELIVERY TIMES

Items will be dispatched within 2 working days of cleared payment.

ORDER CANCELLATION

We offer all clients the opportunity to return items within 24 Hours of receipt. We do not offer a ‘Change of mind’ refund, however a full store credit of the purchase price, excluding delivery costs and any finance fees, will be provided upon the safe receipt of items in the same condition as supplied. The liability for any damage incurred during transit will remain with the sender and all items dispatched by us will be sent fully insured. We recommend that similar insurance be placed on items when returning them to us. All returns must be communicated with a returns reference obtained and attached prior to an item being sent back.

For any complaints whatsoever please contact us directly. Your satisfaction is paramount to us and we will endeavour to rectify any problems as quickly as we can.

CONTENT & PRICING INFORMATION

Our quoted suggested retail prices, model numbers, sizes, styles, etc is correct to the best of our knowledge and we appreciate your feedback should you notice anything incorrect. We will always try to put it right. We regularly update information on The Watch Dealers .com.au, and with changing retail prices and precious metal values these details are subject to change without notification. All older items/watches have a retail value based on today’s closest equivalent.

DISCOUNT VOUCHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

All promotional offers, discount vouchers and free gifts are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Promotions only apply to all transactions of $1000.00 or over on The Watchdealers.com. TWD has the right to end or amend this promotion at anytime without notice. Promotions are governed by Australian law. Promotions are open to worldwide clients aged 18 years or over as at the start date of the relevant promotion, except employees of TWD, anyone else professionally associated with the offer or any member of their households. For foreign clients the price will be deducted in AUD and converted using our bank rate. Promotions are as stated, are non-transferable, no cash alternative will be offered and no change will be given. The offer only applies to products held in stock. Items must be purchased at advertised price and discount voucher will be applied to this. Promotions are not available to be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount and are subject to availability. The offer does not cover external factors such as additional warranty, shipping, insurance, & any surcharges.
  2. Items sold on commission via TWD are excluded from the offer unless the specified offer is accepted by the consignee. The offer does not extend to any item already purchased. TWD decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding. Codes are only valid for one time use only. You will be required to present your voucher if paying in store. Online purchases will require the discount voucher code to be entered at checkout. By entering a Promotion or prize draw, you also consent to us using your data in accordance with our privacy policy. We do not accept responsibility for the product not being available at the time of selecting, or for entries not accepted due to incomplete or missing data and or failure to meet the conditions set out within these terms & conditions.
  3. Returns of items on offer are subject to standard terms and conditions. The cost of the promotion will be deducted from any refund given if the promotional gift is not returned with the full price item.
